Is this a letdown I was actually afraid to post this because I saw everybody was expecting some sort of fight full of screaming and explosions, and jerry just kinda shrugged it off.

Originally I was gonna have a big piece of piping or masonry fall on his head and crack apart in two, then he would say something swarmy along the lines of 'I drink stuff tougher than you', but i thought it was too corny.

EDIT: Jeremy's hair gets the star treatment.
I have updated the link in my news post to the actual paper version of issue one, now the link actually works! wow !

Your original idea does sound worse than what you came up with. This is a more believable plot line.

What I do wonder about though, is when Barbara is gonna rip off her shirt and show us the tights with the big S on her chest and shoot lazerbeamz from her eyes.

The fat boy seems to have kryptonite.

Not that I don't love your character. Just pointing out the parallel. ^_^

I'm not too sure where this is going, still, but I'm intrigued. Don't have fears about what people expect, just keep posting!

I love his hair. His hair should have a spin-off comic.

Humanity I love how this is the first time we see him as actually "human" with wants and desires and feelings and his own story.
Before he seemed like some homeless chump who was fascinated in anime, now he seems tangible and real all because of panel four.

it's good to see conflict without your typical comic combat scene. good job

Q? Forgive me, but these guys are increasingly reminding me of the Q. Although the Q are way more arrogant.
